Strengthened Partnership between the Republic of Moldova and Latvia in the Field of Social Insurance

The General Director of the National Office of Social Insurance, Ms. Elena Țîbîrnă, is on an official visit to Riga at the invitation of the leadership of the State Social Insurance Agency of the Republic of Latvia, on the occasion of the signing, on October 30, of the Protocol on cooperation in the field of social insurance between the National Office of Social Insurance and the State Social Insurance Agency of the Republic of Latvia, at a historic moment for the European course of the Republic of Moldova. The Protocol will regulate aspects related to interinstitutional cooperation and the further development of bilateral relations. 

During the meetings, the need to strengthen and expand cooperation was emphasized, through the exchange of experience and effective practices in the field of social insurance regulation, as well as consultancy in the transposition of EU directives and regulations.
